We also have the 32' Extension Kits that will allow the Pile and Frame Trestles to be lengthened.
We have in the to-do list a 32' One Bent Trestle and a 16' No Bent Version.
Finally, we are working on releasing the G-Scale Plans for our Pile and Frame Trestles. The raw material will be readily available at Home Centers and will require the use of a Table Saw to cut the material to the dimensions needed.

We thought the N-Scale Pile Trestle should be longer than 48", we the standard configuration is now 64' long with three Bents. Bent configurations for one and two bay Bents and Narrow and Standard Gauge are still provided in the same kit. This is Kit Number EH521N. We are working on a Frame version of the Trestle...

We retired one of our heritage-designed kits (1977), the Dollar Bros. Motor Freight, in both HO and O Scale (EH207 and EH2007). The Kit is being completely updated to make construction easier, refine many of the building's details, and remove the water barrels from the roof. The newly released kit will be "Johnson Bros. We, however, want to keep the pricing close to the Dollar Bros. Kits.

Both Kits are getting a long-overdue facelift. Originally released in 1976 (yes, 50 Years Ago), both saw minor updates to the Instructions and a change from pattern-cut walls to laser-cut walls. Both Kits are being completely updated to make construction easier, and refine many of the building's details. The newly released kits will be maked with a A added to the Part Number. Also, in addition to offering them in HO and O Scales, we are now offering them in S Scale.

A few customers asked if we could produce a SP variant to our Pile Trestle Line. Done!!
Typically, the differences include 5 Legs for Standard and Narrow Gauge lines, a few small differences in the build process and available in Pile and 12"x14" Frame designs. Additionally, these are offered standard at 64' in length, with length extension kits available in 16' increments.

This process was complex even with seasoned model builders. This revised kit provides the average builder with an easy-to-build internal Water Box where they will plank with the 2”x12” pieces! The cost will depend on how much we can reuse from your old kit, the latest Internal Box, and a new Manual and Drawings.
